Who We Are
Our Club was formed in 1990 and is celebrating 30 years of supporting the Town and local area whether individuals, charities, or community organisations to improve the quality of life for local people. Youth activities, education, care and nursing, arts and tourism, partnering with business – we believe we have made a difference across a diversity of good causes.
We meet to share fellowship, to enjoy and have fun; we have a social side sometimes dining together and some social events. Our reputation is that we warmly welcome guests and new members; our vision in learning from one another and from our involvement in social action is to address local issues whether poverty, isolation, indeed, all forms of deprivation, and to ensure local resources are directed to those with real needs.

We are actively engaged with a range of local organisations as partnerships allow us to leverage our resources, and understand what needs to be done. We raise money by organising events whether the Tree of Light and Christmas market, or special appeals and street collections. We have a history of managing effective youth progammes with local schools particularly Campden school. We are supporting the new Arts Centre.
In terms of innovation we are keen to build Rotary volunteering and the Friends of Rotary.
Our Actions reflect our philosophy based on the tenets of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity and Leadership.
