We’re About Getting Things Done

Having our own Rotary Charity Fund enables us to distribute monies to meet many areas of need and to respond quickly when necessary such as in providing funds to the Food Bank in the early stages of the Lock down and more recently to the Beirut Crisis. To donate to that fund please press the DONATE button for the Account details and if a taxpayer to complete the gift aid from which will uplift your contribution by 25%.

We do street collections for Marie Curie and the Rotary Fund; our major events are at Christmas with the Tree of Light, the Club providing the Town with its Christmas Tree and with our own stall supporting the Christmas market; and we combine social events with fund raising.

You will also find a copy of the Club brochure for the current year which headlines “30 Years Supporting Charities, International disasters and Individuals, Good Causes, and Improvements in the Local Community” and provides examples of the support given to Local Charites and community organisations as well as National Charites and International Trusts.
