Remembrance Sunday 8th November

Nov 12, 2020 | Our Stories

Following the Government announcement of a month-long lock-down from Thursday 5th November Chipping Campden Town Council is encouraging residents to stay at home and observe a two minutes’ silence on their doorsteps at 11am on 8th November.

After consultation with the Town’s Churches, Royal British Legion, Civic Bodies and other organisations a very small group of representatives from these groups will hold a small service at the War Memorial on 8th November to represent the wider community.

Any person or organisation who normally lays a wreath is invited to do so later in the day, accordingly The Rotary Club of Chipping Campden and District President Drewe Lacey, will lay a wreath on behalf of the club at the memorial at 12.30pm.
